Circa 1900. This lovely Victorian watch chain features elongated and circular links of 18KT gold. Watch chains with bars on one end (where they were fastened to a pocket) were called "Albert Chains" after Prince Albert, who wore this style and made it popular. It is common for women today to wear this particular style of chain as a necklace. These chains are not only unique, but it's also easy to add your favorite locket or pendant. The chain measures 15 inches in length.
